Sac Charter High former CEO under fire again

A story in the Bee today recounts allegations by students about sexual harrassment at the hands of Kevin Johnson.

All school teachers and administrators are “mandated reporters” – meaning they are required to report suspected child abuse. Under the California Education Code, teachers who fail to report can lose their credentials. And the state penal code says any supervisor or administrator who “impedes or inhibits” the reporting can be punished with a fine or jail time or both.

It is important to continually question the powers that be at SCUSD why Sacramento Charter High School’s facilities are still being utilized by a corporation that is under a constant cloud of suspicion with regard to the welfare of teenage girls.
